Traditional architecture – Newer Monuments

There are many beautiful examples of traditional architecture and more recent monuments for the visitor to admire in Amari. In the settlements, the traditional faucets with their elaborate facades and rectangular troughs are of particular interest. In the countryside of Amari, it is worth visiting the picturesque stone bridges, the most famous of which is the Manouras Bridge. Also, if you explore the surrounding mountains you will come across shelters on the mountain slopes, small buildings made of dry stones, but also Ottoman fortresses, which are still standing with their battlements on the tops of the hills.
