The Amari’s Olive Grove, which belongs to the Agricultural School of Asomatos and is declared by the Association of Olive-Growing Municipalities of Crete as a monument, is located west of the village of Monastiraki, in the location of Rovythi. You will have the opportunity to see here centuries-old olive trees up close, including an ancient one, the circumference of which reaches 18.80 meters. Accordingly, a little south of the village of Genna, there is the famous monumental olive tree of Genna, with an age exceeding 2000 years.
