In the center of the Patsos settlement, the ruins of the church of Panagia are preserved at a high altitude. It is a building in the cruciform architectural type with a dome and three-part narthex. The temple collapsed and was rebuilt at the beginning of the 14th century in the same architectural type but with strong Western elements.

The renovation and wall painting of the church is probably connected with the Kallergis family, after the signing of the Treaty with the Venetians in 1299.
