The church of Jesus Christ, dedicated to the Transfiguration of Christ the Savior, is located in the heart of the Monastiraki settlement. The church is of particular interest, as in the ornate bell tower above the main entrance of the church on the south wall, there is a Venetian bell of 1585, which bears representations of the Crucified Jesus, the Virgin Mary, St. John the Baptist and St. Sebastian.
