On the roral road between Apostoloi and Nithavri villages, in the “Fotis” location, east of Gerakari village, there is a church dedicated to Agios Ioannis. The small church was built in the 13th century in the vaulted temple type, while later the dome narthex and the south vaulted aisle were added, which is now collapsed. Inside, the mural decoration is preserved intact, the style of which is similar to that found in the churches of Agia Anna in Amari and Agia Marina in Kalogerou.

Ruins of monastic facilities, as well as a small cemetery, are preserved around the temple.
