The fountain is located in a few meters after the northern entrance of the Apodoulou village. The old stone fountain with the two old faucets and the metal faucet added later was built in 1887, as indicated by a relief inscription on the upper part of the front. For the construction of the fountain, it seems that architectural elements of older buildings were used.
