Amari Tower
Amari Tower
The impressive bell tower that dominates the center of the settlement is one of the first things that you can see when visiting the settlement. It was built at the beginning of the 20th century, probably on the site of an older tower by local craftsmen with a square plan and a height of up to 8 meters. In its upper part, where a narrow stone staircase leads, there are four bells, while one of them is Venetian from the 16th century. At the highest point of the rock, in 1900, there were the ruins of a small tower, where the seat of the castellany of Amari used to be.
