A forest of firs and pines in Helidone
A location of incomparable natural beauty on the slopes of Psiloritis, where privies and pines dominate, while the presence of ruined pastoral buildings is also interesting. The view towards the Asomathianos plain from the Ochra spring, just before the entrance to the forest from the west, is also impressive. The fir forest Helidones is located in the western foothills near the Korakias Plateau and is not accessible by car. Mountaineers usually pass by this point, starting from Fourfouras and heading to the top.
