The large two-aisled church dedicated to the Holy Spirit, which was built in the 19th century, is located on the southwestern outskirts of the Petrochori settlement, on the ruins of an older one.
The main entrance to the temple on the north wall has an impressive portico with double pilasters and a pediment over the lintel. The preserved inscription in the epitaph niche informs the visitor about the year the church was built, 1892. There is also a three-lobed bell tower just above it, while there is also a second tower-like spire behind the south niche of the church which was built later.
