The impressive Church dedicated to Saint John the Theologian and the Holy Trinity is located north of Pantanassa village. The church is a two-room vaulted church and was built in 1645 by the priest Manolis Vlastos. On the facade, you can see the two entrances with Gothic elements in the windows and a row of glazed panels above the north gate. Also, a stone two-lobed belfry is preserved in fragments in the upper part of the western wall.
Inside the Church, the preserved vaulted tomb of 1594 seems to have pre-existed in the area and it is possible that it belonged to a member of the Vlastos family or that Barotsi is buried there due to the letter “B” found on its exterior.
