During the route to the mountain refuge, about 8 km north of the village, we come across a beautiful primeval forest growing on the western slopes of Psiloritis, at Pardi (980m). The forest is mainly covered with privet, however, other trees such as plane trees, cypresses, maples, and others thrive. Hidden among the trees in an idyllic location, there is a small church dedicated to Agios Titos, which is built on the ruins of an older church. On August 25, Saint’s feast day, the village celebrates the annual festival in Pardi.
